Autumn at the Arboretum

Calling all Autumn Lovers (and Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts)!

Join us for a fun-filled day at the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens on September 29th from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM where you can explore the beauty of nature, enjoy apple tasting and a cider press, create apple stamp prints, and participate in exciting activities focused on the colors and sounds of the season - including a special activity with our friends at Home Depot! The first 100 children who arrive will receive a complimentary Johnny Appleseed Little Golden Book. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn your badges!

Daisy Scouts can earn the Outdoor Art Maker Badge and Brownie Scouts can earn the Senses Badge.

Join us for our Pets on Parade event on Sunday, October 13th from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM! Bring your furry friends to strut their stuff in our Pet Parade at 2:30 PM and test their skills on the pet obstacle course. Special guests K9 Mary and Deputy Karla Altenbaumer will be there, and we’ll have a photo opportunity area set up for you and your pet to capture some adorable memories. It’s a perfect day to celebrate our four-legged companions, and we hope to see you there!
