Hours of Operation

Last admission to the gardens is at 5:30 PM


Season Hours: May 13th - September
Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Sunday: 11:00 AM-6:00 PM


October

Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM-Sunset

Sunday: 11:00 AM-Sunset

Admission Rates

Adults (Ages 18+) - $8

Children (Ages 5-17) - $4

Children (Ages 4 & Under) - Free


Arboretum Members - Free

Hawkeye Community College Staff/Students - Free with ID

AHS Reciprocal Members - Free with ID

Museums For All Program - $2 admission per person, applies to a maximum of four people with the presentation of a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card or WIC & a valid form of photo ID.

Directions

The Arboretum is located directly east of Hawkeye Community College on East Orange Road.


When traveling on Highway 20, take the Hawkeye Road exit (Exit 230) and travel south. After three miles you will turn left on East Orange Road. The Arboretum will be on your left just past the college.
